MBCA Outstanding Teacher / Professor
Recognition Award
Our organization would like to take the
opportunity to remind you of the continuation of
our Outstanding Teacher/Professor Recognition
Award. This Award is being offered to
acknowledge the outstanding contribution of a
greater Atlantic City region Teacher or
Professor who makes a difference in the
development of his/her students by being a
positive role model, demonstrating
resourcefulness and utilizing innovative
teaching techniques.
A $1,500 Grant will be
presented to the winner for the purpose of
obtaining supplies, equipment or purchasing
student incentives related to his/her teaching.
The property, when purchased, will become the
property of the individual’s school but should
remain in the classroom of the recipient.
Please help the MBCA identify and reward our
outstanding teachers.
Determination
The Grant recipient will be selected by the
Scholarship Committee from the submitted
applications.
Eligibility
-
Nominee must be employed in a teaching or
professor capacity in a school or college
which is physically located within the
greater Atlantic City region.

Nominee must be tenured.

Completed Nomination Package
-
Nominations are limited to one from each
individual school or collegiate campus.

Completed nomination packages must be
received no later than 5 PM, Thursday, March
1, 2008 at the MBCA office located at 159
S. Westminster Avenue, Atlantic City, New
Jersey 08401.
Completed nomination package must include
the following:

2. Nomination Letter explaining why the
recipient should be considered (200 word
minimum/300 word maximum) by superintendent,
principal, or chief school administrator.
