MBCA Scholarship Foundation
The purpose of the MBCA Scholarship Foundation is to promote higher education to the residents of the Greater Atlantic City area by offering financial assistance in the form of scholarships.

Scholarships will be awarded to help individuals achieve their goals of educational growth, develop their knowledge and potential and allow them to contribute productively to the community.

Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,500. The number of scholarships awarded will be determined by the amount of money available in the scholarship foundation.

Determination
Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Scholarship Committee from the submitted applications. Scholarship recipients will be announced at an annual event.

Criteria
Candidates for the scholarships must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Resident of the Atlantic City region for at least 2 years.
  • Accepted or returning to a post secondary educational program, working towards a degree or certification.

The Applicant Will Submit:

  • An Application Form (Deadline March 1, 2008)
  • An Academic Transcript
  • A Resume
  • A Short essay or a one page ad on the following topic:
    How to promote Atlantic City to the surrounding South Jersey communities. (Ad will be evaluated for content and creativity. Ads can be color or black and white, no larger than 8.5'' by 14'')
