Educator Recognition Awards Luncheon: April 23rd,
2010

The MBCA Foundation held its 9th Annual
Scholarship Awards Luncheon on Friday April 23rd
at Trump Plaza Casino & Resort. Keynote Speaker
and MBCA Education Appreciation Recipient
Mr.Doug Groff (President of the NJ Association
of school Administrators) Spoke to the audience
about educational strengths and weakness for the
US , and technology issues in education.
Student Scholarship were awarded to Mr. Andrew
Wilsey of Ocean City , Christine Goddard of
Galloway Twp,. Alexandra Shuster of Margate ,
and Kamisha Battle and Edward Bannister- Holmes
of Atlantic City. Te Trump Educator Grant Was
Presented to Ms. Jennifer Afando of Sovereign
Ave. Scholl in Atlantic City for a unique
Education program.
This was a Record Number of attended for the
luncheon and Co-Sponsored by Atlantic Ape
Community College and Trump entertainment
Resorts.

MBCA is comprised of businesses and individuals,
organized to promote a healthy business and
living climate within the Greater Atlantic City
region.
MBCA functions to improve the quality of life
for the citizens living in and the businesses
located in the area by mobilizing available
public and private resources.
