Scholarship for Fine Arts

The Marty Wilson Jr. Art & Music Foundation Inc. is pleased to be accepting applications for the first-ever MWAMF Fine Arts Scholarship ($500.00).

The successful applicant will be a deserving Atlantic County student who will be or is currently enrolled at a 4 year college studying Fine Arts, Theater or a similar major. If you know a candidate who meets this criteria and is in good academic/disciplinary standing who actively participates in a Fine Arts Program (including but not limited to Mural Arts Program, School Play, Band, Choir or similar discipline.) at their current School, and wants to be considered by our Scholarship Committee, they must submit a completed application along with at least one letter of recommendation from a member of the Arts/Music faculty by September 1, 2009.

Applications and eligibility criteria are available at Guidance Offices of area High Schools and Colleges, by mail to MWAMF, Scholarship Program, PO Box 7025 Atlantic City, NJ, 08404 or by email to nmarzo@verizon.net.  Incomplete or late applications cannot be considered. The winner will be announced at the MWAMF Harvest Brunch fundraiser on October 18, 2009 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm in Dante Hall.

The MWAMF is a non-profit organization supporting local after school programs for kids in art & music!
