CHERRI KRAVITZ SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

The friends and family of Cherri Kravitz, a loving friend and devoted daughter, invite you to be a part of the second annual memorial party that will celebrate Cherri’s life which was taken from us three years ago by breast cancer. Cherri, a teacher in the Atlantic City Schools System for 18 years, was dedicated to seeing that her students were instilled with the desire to have an education and the wisdom to aid and assist others. Due to Cherri’s love for children and education we have developed the Cherry Kravitz Scholarship Foundation. In the three years of its existence there were $29,000 in scholarships given to eight deserving graduates of Atlantic City High School and four sixth-graders at the Richmond Avenue School.

The event will be held at Maynard’s Cafe, on Amherst Avenue, in Margate, on Sunday, July 26, from 5 PM. There will be a gathering of Cherri’s family from California, New Hampshire, Florida, New York and New Jersey as well as the local friends, admirers and neighbors who loved Cherri. All participants will enjoy being together for this auspicious occasion. The event will feature entertainment, raffles with outstanding prizes and a free buffet with a cash bar. A donation of $15 per person will benefit deserving students striving to better their future. Expenses are underwritten so that all proceeds go to Cherri’s Scholarship Foundation.
