ATLANTIC CITY CHRISTMAS PARADE TO TRAVEL TO
ATLANTIC CITY OUTLETS, THE WALK

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (November 11, 2008) -- Holiday shoppers are in for
a more than a great bargain at Atlantic City Outlets, The Walk. The
annual Atlantic City Christmas Parade will follow a new route that
ends at Michigan and Baltic Avenues at The Walk. The Atlantic City
Christmas Parade will begin at Noon on New Hampshire Avenue and
proceed along Atlantic Avenue from the Northeast Inlet to the
Midtown district. The parade will then turn right onto Michigan
Avenue and proceed through Atlantic City Outlets, The Walk before
ending at Baltic Ave.
Dozens of parade participants are already committed to this year’s
festivities, including marching bands, floats, a string band, local
officials and the 8-hitch team of Clydesdale Horses. Atlantic City
Outlets, The Walk will participate in the parade featuring a float
that hosts Playhouse Disney’s CHOO CHOO SOUL.
Santa, City Officials and Officials from The Walk will host the Tree
Lighting at the Michigan Avenue plaza in front of KB Toy Outlet
immediately following the parade. Along with entertainment in the
plaza area, children will receive goody bags from Santa and some
very lucky children will receive gifts donated by KB Toy Outlet.
The Atlantic City Christmas Parade begins at Noon on Saturday,
November 29th . The first participants are expected to arrive at
Michigan Avenue at approximately 12:30pm. The tree lighting ceremony
is scheduled to take place at approximately 2:00pm. Valet parking
will be suspended on Michigan Avenue between Noon and 2pm and will
resume once the parade is dispersed. Parking is available at the
Caesars garage at Christopher Columbus Blvd and Atlantic Avenue,
Park Place Parking at Ohio and Atlantic Avenues and the Atlantic
City Convention Center surface lot at Baltic and Ohio Avenues. For
